Message Different arms fail for different reasons.

The majority fail because the design of the arm does not take into account lateral forces applied as the arm travels between droop and compression.

The UAS ones address this but as you can see the threaded section is bears the majority of the weight when wound a long way out and wasn't up to the job. They have addressed this with version two [ http://www.300zx.com.au/pricelists/images/PivotingArms1_001.jpg ] which have a much more substantial centre section.

Another arm that I bet won't bend is the Nagissa auto front Upper Control arm [ http://i1047.photobucket.com/albums/b475/ezzupturbo/front_upper_arm.jpg ] with bearing inner and balljoint outer. For mine this is the best FUCA design on the market.
